Developmental Editing

By far, my favorite service to provide! Working as a developmental editor is the most in depth experience that an author and editor can have. Whether the manuscript is a work in progress, or already complete I am able to provide open and honest critiques and aid in character arcs, overarching story development, and watch for any errors in continuity within the work. The outcome is a truly dedicated partnership resulting in the most collaborative type of work that I offer.

Copy Editing

I like to define copy editing as an in between for developmental and proofreading. In the copy editing stage of the work grammar is corrected, inconsistencies are spotted and sentence structure is reworked. The result is a polished final product.

Proofreading

Proofreading is the absolute final step in making sure that a manuscript is ready for publication. It is read over and any remaining errors missed previously is corrected and finessed.
